SKILLS / A STUDIO WORKFLOW

Release & Distribution Checklist

Keep the last mile organised: credits, files, dates and store checks. A repeatable review for the details that matter between a finished track and a public release.

INSIDE THE GUIDE

A look at the contents.

  1. Rights, credits and synthetic-voice disclosure
  2. Titles, track order, language and release metadata
  3. Audio, artwork and delivery-file checks
  4. Submission, processing and release status tracking
  5. Store-link verification and launch-day follow-through

SAMPLE OF THE APPROACH

One small decision.

“Delivered to stores” and “available to listeners” are two different checks. Open each public destination, match the artist and track list, then mark that destination as verified.

Bring your own tools.

  • Your own Suno account for music, lyrics and synthetic vocals. A plan with suitable rights is needed for commercial releases.
  • Your own ChatGPT account for cover concepts and artwork, and a DistroKid account if you distribute through DistroKid.
  • A computer, a text editor and time to listen, revise and check your release. Service subscriptions and distribution fees are separate.

Your own Suno, ChatGPT and DistroKid accounts are needed for the relevant steps. Platform subscriptions and distribution fees are not included.
